Disposable Entonox Mouthpiece With Bacterial and Viral Filter.This breathing filter comes supplied with a mouthpiece attached and in sterile packaging. This combined filter and mouthpiece is a single-use, disposable item, ideal for the administration of analgesic and anaesthetic gases.
Nitrous Oxide gases have been known to have sedative and analgesic effects for well over two hundred years. In the medical application, Entonox is a gas comprising of equal parts of Nitrous Oxide and Oxygen, most commonly used during childbirth.
The gas is administered via the Entonox circuit and inhaled by the patient using either a face mask or a mouthpiece. An incorporated demand valve is regulated by the patient’s inspiration pattern allowing gases to be controlled and not lost to the ambient surroundings.
