Description
Primedic HeartSave Semi-Automatic AED
The Primedic HeartSave AED is more advanced than the lower-priced PAD. The HeartSave AED is able to switch languages during resuscitation. The PAD lacks this function. This AED has a battery with a longer shelf-life: 6 years as opposed to 3 years.
All Primedic AED’s are highly resistant to water and dirt and their functionality renders child pads unnecessary. A button on the front of the AED can be switched to the child mode which means that the device will automatically correct the energy of the recommended shock. This prevents a child from receiving an energy shock intended for an adult.
The HeartSave AED is equipped with a CompactFlash memory card for recording patient data (ECG) and ambient noise. The software for reading out these data on the computer is included.
Saves lives – fully portable – fast
The patient suffering from a cardiac arrest has only a few precious minutes left for a chance of survival. The HeartSave AED only delivers an electric shock if life-threatening fibrillation is actually detected. Easy-to-understand spoken instructions and clear display symbols guide the user step-by-step through the rescue procedure, thus eliminating the possibility of the device being operated incorrectly
Reliability is the top priority at PRIMEDIC™. Safety aspects such as straightforward operation, routine self-tests, water/ splash proofing and exceptionally hard-wearing, sets the HeartSave apart.
Speed
In an emergency, speed is of the essence. Thanks to the device’s automatic start-up function when the cover is removed and the automatic analysing rhythm, the automatic external defibrillator for first aid personnel by PRIMEDIC™ sets additional benchmarks when it comes to speed.
