Gold Plan offers the customer peace of mind by providing an extension to their standard 3 month warranty. This plan will cover your defibrillator system with all parts required to maintain the system at full specification, with the exception of battery packs & accessories. In the event of a breakdown during the plan period, Wessex  Medical Ltd will carry out the repair free of charge.

The service engineer will perform detailed routine checks to ensure the product is maintained to the Manufacturers Standard specifications. The checks performed are outlined below.

A range of Service options are offered including Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), including repair only services. As part of our PPM, we also carry out all calibration and Electrical Safety Testing to Manufacturers Guidelines.

The Silver Plan will provide the user with a regular visit from a fully qualified service engineer.  The engineer will carry out a series of routine checks and inspect the product to ensure its operational integrity.

The plan covers travel and labour charges for the visit, but any parts or additional work necessary to bring the product up to specification will incur an additional cost.  Call-outs other than planned visits will be charged for at the current rates for on-site repairs less a 5% discount.  The checks performed are outlined below.

The Bronze Plan provides a regular visit from a service engineer where more than 5 units are available in any one location, at any  one time.  The engineer will carry out a series of  routine checks and inspect the product to ensure its operational integrity.

The Plan covers travel and labour charges for the visit, but additional parts or work necessary to bring the product up to specification will incur an extra charge. Faults occurring between maintenance visits will be charged for at the current rate.
