Mercury Spillage Kit

This simple but effective Mercury Spillage Kit enables staff to deal safely and easily with mercury spills with a minimum amount of training. The kit contains everything required with the exception of a mercury vapour protection respirator (as recommended in the HSC procedure).

The Mercury Spillage Kit contains two sealable containers comprising:

• Scraper
• Amalgamating Powder
• Collection Sponge
• Protective Aprons
• Protective Nitrile Gloves

The Mercury Spillage Kit also contains:

• Dampening Spray
• Mercury Spill Warning Card
• Warning Tape
• Comprehensive User Instructions

Everything that is used goes back into the disposal containers, which can be sealed with the tape and the whole unit sent for disposal according to Local Authority Regulations, hospital or PCT procedures.
