The Mercurisorb-Roth® Mercury Spill Kit consists of a special absorbent capable of absorbing mercury in quantities corresponding to its own weight (1:1) and convert it into a relatively harmless substance. The resulting compound emits practically no harmful vapours and is safe to store for collection and disposal.

A mercury spill kit should be kept in close proximity wherever any equipment containing mercury is stored or used. This ensures that risks to employees, patients, visitors and the environment are minimised.
