The Wessex Medical Gold Plan provides a regular visit from our service engineer partner. The engineer will carry out a series of routine checks and inspect the product to ensure its operational integrity.
The Gold Plan covers travel and labour charges for the visit and any parts required (except batteries & Accessories which may be discounted at up to 5% of list price) or additional work necessary, to bring the product up to specification. One set of AED Electrodes will be replaced at the time of the service. Faults arising during the contract period are covered by the Plan.
During any Gold Plan visit the following procedures will be performed:
Perform a detailed external examination
Complete the required Performance Inspection Procedure (PIP)
Check calibrations (1) and adjust where necessary
General cleaning of the unit (2)
Issue a work sheet / status report on each product
All test equipment used by the Service Engineers carries a current calibration certificate.
Wessex Medical reserves the right to refuse to cleanse a product that is considered contaminated by suspect fluids.
Wessex Medical Ltd reserves the right to change any specification or price without prior notice.
Wessex Medical Ltd reserves the right to request that a product be returned to its workshops for servicing.
